My oldest, closest friends have always said that I'm a bad liar because my face always gives it away. This blog is one part experiment in digital transparency to a whole lot of other parts.

I love: coffee, books, making lists, sincerity, whole seasons of TV shows at once, friends, sweater weather, traveling, brunch, crocheting, feminism, long hikes, my blue couch, Lindy West articles, the beginnings of things, beer, sleep, blankets, fresh herbs, sharing recipes, and my dog. I am a collaborative person at nature, and want to not only engage with those around me, but to encourage a continuing engagement that helps to breed new connections and ideas. I am inspired by the world, and awe is something that I consciously attempt to practice.
